God gives a perceptive appreciation of awe and wonder to little children so they can teach adults the natural qualities of simple faith and trust. We, who are older, educated, and learned people, seek hidden answers. But Jesus says these illusive mysteries of life have already been revealed to children. Our lives are often filled with stressful worries and overcrowded schedules. We are often without quiet peace, radiant joy and childlike happiness. We would do well to associate with pure, bright-eyed, and imaginative children to remind us of our childhood—a magical world of shining colors and trusting people. Dare to dream that the population of the planet could be filled with childlike qualities—innocent, simple, smiling, and friendly.
